Volunteer

Why Volunteer for Lifeline?

We provide an opportunity for you to challenge yourself. With Lifeline Help, you can put yourself under certain circumstances which would amplify your capabilities and personal skills by helping with Admin work, organising events, fundraising and doing personal challenges, there are a lot of opportunities available for personal development.

Being a volunteer, expect yourself as unique as you really are. You don’t just provide aid, you provide humanity, respect and you definitely provide warmth.
We are diverse; we have a lot of love for everyone and anyone titled as “human”, whatever their background, whatever their ethnicity, we are one and we are all alike.
We can’t do half what we’ve done and are doing without people’s support. You mean absolutely everything to us and you mean everything to the people we tend to help, thus, we’re with you in every step of our journey with Lifeline Help.
We pick up after ourselves and we know how to make tea, not filled too much, not too less, not too strong or too weak.

We have our ways of shaking off stress, we have fun and we never get ourselves stressed out; all work and no play make jack a dull boy. Therefore, we keep a balance.

How you can help:

1) Fundraise for Fun
Do your own personal fun challenge and raise funds for the people we support. Was there something you were always dying to try but haven’t got around to it yet? Is there something you just love doing? This is your chance to have fun, do something you love and fundraise for a worthy cause at the same time. You can do anything from a baking sale, to a sky dive!

2) Organise an event in your area
Help to orgainise a fundraising event in your area and let us know. We will come down to support you. You can organise anything from a fundraising dinner to a charity car wash!

3) Utilise your skills
Are you really good at something? Do you have excellent admin, organisational or event management skills? Are you great at social media or blogging? Do you have something to offer? Contact us to see how you can help!

4) We are planning on opening a charity shop in Leigh, Greater Manchester (20 – 30 minutes drive from central Manchester) at the beginning of September. We are looking for volunteers to work in the shop and even help set it up and create, share and implement ideas.
